Society:
During the First Age, the Orcs were issued an ultimatum from the Amur: they could join their ranks to subjugate the rest of the continent, or they could die. The decision the Orcs made follows them to this every day. They organize themselves in a strict hierarchy. The Chief of the warband is elected through a majority vote, but it was not always like that. These votes happen when enough people come to believe that the current Chief’s direction is not satisfactory. A new leader can be elected right then if there is enough support. Should there not be, whomever proves themselves to be capable first is the new Chief. The rest of the warband is organized based on what kind of combat they prefer. Ferim’Kah are warriors practiced in the arcane formula. Kagrim’Kah are warriors practiced in subtlety. Lok’Kah are warriors practiced in martial combat. Each warrior is expected to not only know how to fight, but also be able to gather or craft, so they can produce for the warband. This is all organized as efficiently as possible, so they may keep their war against the Amur.

Culture:
At the end of the first war against the Amur, the Gigoth Orcs swore that they would crush the Amur beneath their heel, and so long as the Amur existed they would be their mortal enemies. Since that day they have wandered the continent in their warbands preparing and waiting for them to make their emergence again. The primary result of this being that the center of Gigoth culture is the heart of the warrior. To the Gigoth Orcs the warrior is proud of their people, strong, and unwilling to compromise in the face of their foes. The warrior is constantly prepared for their fight with the Amur and their minions. This constant preparation and practice has led to the emergence of several martial arts and popular battle tactics. It is said that one can determine the general area a Gigoth Orc was raised based on the first martial art they were taught. This leaves the Gigoth with little care for much else. No real written works, no works of art, no celebrations, nothing but the Eternal War.

Family:
The Gigoth form relationships and stubbornly stick with them, based on personal preference and martial prowess. Marriage is a belief kept by the other races and is simply something the Gigoth do not care for. If both wish to produce a child, they are agreeing to take care of the child and to make a mighty child. Children are passed a weapon from their parents, and is an important coming of age ceremony. To do this, a child must best both parents in 2 on 1 combat. Only then is a weapon passed on, and only then is a Gigoth orc considered a child of their parents no longer.

Religion:
Most Gigoth Orcs revere their creator Terona, as her avatar played a major part in the destruction of the figurative and literal chains that bound the Gigoth Orcs to the Amur. They pledge their freedom to her, and use that freedom in her service. Those that do not follow Terona typically follow her sister Verona, as a symbol of protection and vigilance. Or they follow the creator deity of the Cullkin dwarves Soldas, worshipping him as to make them a symbol of inevitable death. While they do not hate other deities, they spurn Vumella specifically to spite the Barclay Elves.
